Turning 27 this year has made me reflect on just all the experiences that have happened to me recently. From dealing with depression and anxiety to gaining the right tools to help me combat those thoughts by going to therapy. With another month down, you know we had to go through the lessons I was able to learn! I think we can all agree that we are own harshest critics. The cognitive distortions we have that alter our reality and telling us that we are not good enough is what leads us to a path of poor mental health. But when you realize what those distortions are, you are able to look at the facts to understand how your brain works and why it hinders your self-worth so much. We also dive deep into the power of “Why?” and why that question can lead us to a more truthful path and fulfilling our own needs and wants. Lastly, we dive into how discipline will always beat motivation because motivation has a scarcity while discipline could last forever. I hope you guys are able to resonate or learn something from this episode and use it to become the highest version of yourselves!
